One of the most difficult tasks in our lives is to understand the existence of god. There are many different ideas from numerous religions about what god is, what his motivations are, and what he wants from us. In recent years, the concept that god does not exist has become increasingly popular. By talking with various religious groups and atheists, participants learned that everyone has some kind of spiritual or religious background; thus it would make sense to talk openly about our beliefs on the existence of god. After a few years of planning and development, the first official meeting of the project took place at Ibadan, Nigeria in October 2011. During this event, attendees discussed which factors should play a role in deciding whether or not god exists. Ultimately they came up with three main criteria: science, morality and inspiration. In addition to those factors, all attendees agreed that whatever decision was made must be based on moral values and demonstration of goodness so as to become a universal consensus for everyone involved rather than just a personal opinion or belief.
